Calliegh Duffney, MS, LPC

Calliegh has been providing mental health services for the past 10 years, to children, teens, adults, couples and families. She received her graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Cloud State University and is currently pursing licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She has training in both Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and play therapy. Her approach to therapy is rooted in attachment and family systems theory, with a focus on client empowerment, authenticity and creativity.

She is able to accept MHCP, MA, United Healthcare/Medica, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Health Partners, Preferred One, and UCare insurances at this time.

Calliegh enjoys spending time in nature with her husband and family, going fishing, boating, or traveling the globe.


Emily Kyllonen, MSE, LPCC, LSC

Emily Kyllonen (MSE, LSC, LPCC ) has worked in child and adolescent counseling for the past 10 years.  She worked as a licensed K-12 School Counselor previously and after relocating to Aitkin has worked with various ages as a therapist in the Aitkin and surrounding community since 2017.  She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and various outdoor activities.

Emily has a passion for mental health prevention and early intervention for children and teens.  The foundation of her approach is establishing the therapeutic relationship through positive regard, trust, and empathy. She implements various techniques in order to improve and promote a healthy quality of life, which enables the client to thrive in and outside of the therapy setting.

Jean Heitzman, MSW, LICSW

Jean has been working with children, teens, adults, families and seniors for the past 20 years.  She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota.  She has advanced training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) through BTech, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) through EMDRIA, Trauma and Crisis Intervention through International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF), Clinical Hypnosis with the University of Minnesota. She is also a Board approved supervisor. Jean has a client focused approach based in support, warmth and humor.

Jean is able to accept IMCare, MHCP, MA, Medica, BCBS, Health Partners, Preferred One, UCare and Medicare insurances.

Jean enjoys the outdoors and spends time with family camping, boating and snowmobiling.
